‘SolarSquare’ Raises $40M to Revolutionize Residential Solar in India!

SolarSquare, a Mumbai-based leader in residential solar solutions, has raised a massive $40 million (approx. ₹338 crore) in a Series B funding round!

The round, led by Lightspeed, saw participation from top investors like Lightrock, Elevation Capital, Lowercarbon by Chris Sacca, Nithin Kamath’s Rainmatter, and Gruhas Proptech.

But what’s next for SolarSquare?
Revolutionizing Solar Tech: The company plans to build advanced asset management technology for remote monitoring and diagnostics of residential solar systems, ensuring a seamless and worry-free experience for customers.

Expanding Reach: From its current presence in 20 cities, SolarSquare aims to light up 50+ cities across India, bringing solar power closer to more homes and communities.

Strengthening the Team: Scaling operations means investing in talent to build a future-ready organization capable of driving solar adoption at scale.

Since its humble beginnings in 2015 as a bootstrapped solar EPC company, SolarSquare, founded by Neeraj Jain and Nikhil Nahar, has transformed into a full-stack residential solar solutions brand. They’ve already powered 20,000 homes and 200 cooperative housing societies with sustainable energy.
