LiLLBUD Secures ₹6 Crore Seed Funding to Expand Montessori-Inspired Learning Products for Toddlers

Zeropearl VC Leads Investment as LiLLBUD Plans to Launch 100 New Early Learning Products

Gurugram-based early childhood learning startup LiLLBUD has raised ₹6 crore in a seed funding round led by Zeropearl VC. The funding round also witnessed participation from prominent angel investors, including Abhishek Bansal, CEO of Shadowfax, Kunal Shah, Founder of CRED, along with a syndicate of consumer and supply chain experts.

The fresh capital will enable LiLLBUD to strengthen its product portfolio, expand distribution, and build a trusted early-learning brand for young families across India.

Funding to Drive Product Expansion and Brand Growth

LiLLBUD plans to utilize the newly raised funds to introduce 100 new products designed specifically for children between 18 and 36 months of age.

The startup will also invest in expanding its presence across quick-commerce platforms, strengthening its supply chain infrastructure, and accelerating brand-building initiatives to reach more parents nationwide.

As awareness around early childhood development continues to grow, the company aims to make high-quality educational products more accessible to Indian families.

Building a Science-Backed Early Learning Ecosystem

Founded by Abhishek Sharma and Ayush Bansal, LiLLBUD develops play-based, Montessori-inspired learning products for children aged 0 to 3 years.

Its portfolio currently includes over 200 BIS-certified products across multiple developmental categories, helping children build cognitive, sensory, motor, and problem-solving skills during the most crucial years of brain development.

The company’s focus on safety, quality, and scientifically designed learning experiences differentiates it in India’s growing early childhood education market.

Strong Early Growth Across Online Platforms

Since launching in May 2025, LiLLBUD has achieved an annualized revenue run rate of ₹3.5 crore, reflecting increasing demand for premium educational products for toddlers.

The startup sells its products through its official website as well as leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Blinkit, allowing it to reach parents across India efficiently.

With new product launches and wider distribution planned, LiLLBUD expects to further accelerate its growth in the coming months.

Founders Focus on Safe and Meaningful Early Development

Speaking about the company’s mission, Co-founder Abhishek Sharma emphasized that the first three years of a child’s life are critical for lifelong development. He believes Indian parents deserve access to thoughtfully designed, world-class early-learning products that have long been available in global markets.

Co-founder Ayush Bansal added that becoming a parent inspired him to create products that are safe, scientifically backed, and development-focused. He noted that LiLLBUD aims to empower parents with trusted tools that support every milestone of a child’s early learning journey.

With fresh funding, an expanding product portfolio, and increasing consumer demand, LiLLBUD is well-positioned to become a leading player in India’s early childhood learning and educational products market.
