Panthera Growth Partners Backs AI Startup’s Global Expansion and Deep-Tech Innovation

Indian AI startup Innefu Labs has raised $30 million in funding from Panthera Growth Partners, marking a major milestone in the country’s growing sovereign AI ecosystem. The investment, made through a combination of primary and secondary transactions from Panthera’s second fund, will fuel the startup’s next phase of innovation, international expansion, and IPO preparations.

Founded by Tarun Wig and Abhishek Sharma, Innefu Labs develops indigenous AI-powered platforms and multi-modal fusion systems that support national security and critical infrastructure. Its solutions are already deployed across defense, intelligence agencies, law enforcement organizations, revenue intelligence departments, and major enterprise clients.

Funding to Accelerate Global Growth and AI Innovation

The newly raised capital will help Innefu Labs expand into international markets while strengthening its AI-first technology stack. The company plans to invest heavily in research and development focused on sovereign AI technologies that can operate securely in mission-critical environments.

The funding will also support the development of the company’s proprietary Agentic AI platform, a dedicated Physical AI (robotics) division, and secure domain-specific language models designed for high-trust government and enterprise applications.

Speaking about the funding, Co-Founder and CEO Tarun Wig said the company was founded with a vision to ensure India never depends on external technologies for national security and digital sovereignty. Over the past fifteen years, Innefu has developed AI-powered platforms that protect critical assets and enhance decision-making capabilities across government institutions.

The company now aims to scale its innovations globally while advancing autonomous decision-support systems that strengthen India’s leadership in sovereign artificial intelligence.
