GenZ Investment Startup Trackk Raises $3.7 Million to Simplify Investing for Young Indians

Lightspeed Leads Seed Funding Round in Trackk

Indian fintech startup Trackk has raised $3.7 million in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed. The round also saw participation from InfoEdge Ventures along with prominent angel investors including Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Tanmay Bhatt, Varun Mayya, and Gaurav Kapoor.

The fresh funding will help the startup strengthen its broking infrastructure, expand product offerings, improve onboarding systems, accelerate user acquisition, and build additional financial products tailored for younger Indian investors.

Building an Investment Platform for Gen Z

Founded by Vedant Gupte, Siddharth Thakkar, and Aryan Jain, Trackk is building an investment platform specifically designed for Gen Z users entering the financial markets.

The startup aims to simplify investing for first-time users by combining artificial intelligence-led stock discovery, personalized user journeys, and easy-to-use investing tools.

Unlike traditional investing platforms, Trackk focuses on how younger users consume financial information through creators, online communities, social media, and digital platforms. The company believes that while financial content consumption habits have evolved significantly, many existing investment platforms still feel too complex for young investors.

According to CEO Vedant Gupte, the company’s mission is to make financial market participation more intuitive, accessible, and engaging for India’s younger generation.

Growing Demand for Youth-Focused Fintech Products

India has witnessed a rapid rise in young retail investors over the last few years, driven by increasing smartphone usage, digital financial education, creator-led content, and easier access to online trading platforms.

As Gen Z investors enter financial markets earlier than previous generations, fintech startups are increasingly building products tailored to their behaviour and preferences.

Trackk believes younger investors prefer discovery-driven investing experiences where educational content, insights, and investment opportunities are integrated into a more user-friendly digital ecosystem.

The startup also plans to introduce additional financial products in the future to support long-term wealth creation and encourage disciplined investing habits among young users.

Investors See Strong Opportunity in Gen Z Investing

Investors backing Trackk believe India’s next wave of financial growth will be driven by digitally native young investors.

Romit Mehta stated that the startup understands how younger users discover and interact with financial products differently from older generations.

Meanwhile, Chinmaya Sharma emphasized the need for platforms that simplify investing while helping young Indians make informed financial decisions instead of encouraging speculative trading behaviour.

With rising financial awareness and increasing participation from young investors, Trackk aims to position itself as a modern investing platform built specifically for India’s Gen Z population.
