Indian digital fashion startup Meta Fashion has raised approximately Rs 3.82 crore ($400,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Lumikai.
The funding round also witnessed participation from Big Bets, Akshat Rathee, and Pratham Mittal.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to scale its digital fashion ecosystem, expand gaming platform integrations, strengthen AI-powered product development, and grow its original gaming experiences.
Meta Fashion was founded in 2022 by Arjun Goel, a young entrepreneur who previously appeared on Shark Tank India.
His co-founder, Sanjay Goel, is a graduate of National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi and brings more than two decades of experience in consumer technology, manufacturing, and exports.
The startup focuses on creating and selling digital fashion products that users can purchase for avatars across gaming and virtual platforms including Roblox, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, and ZEPETO.
Meta Fashion has developed a proprietary AI-powered engine that functions like a fast-fashion model for virtual assets.
The system analyzes marketplace trends, gaming behavior, and demand signals in real time to identify emerging fashion styles and rapidly create new digital products for gaming marketplaces.
According to the company, this technology helps improve product discovery while enabling faster design and launch cycles in the growing virtual fashion economy.
Beyond digital wearables, Meta Fashion has also launched a direct-to-consumer physical apparel line that converts successful digital designs into real-world fashion products. This “phygital” strategy allows the startup to bridge virtual and physical fashion experiences for consumers.
The startup is also developing its own original gaming experience called “Glam Girls” on Roblox, which entered beta testing in late 2025.
Meta Fashion claims to have already sold more than 2.5 million virtual fashion items on Roblox, generating nearly $300,000 in gross merchandise value.
Founder Arjun Goel stated that gaming platforms like Roblox are rapidly evolving into powerful consumer ecosystems where digital identity, fashion, and entertainment are becoming deeply connected.
Investors believe Meta Fashion is positioned at the intersection of two major trends , the rise of user-generated gaming platforms and the growth of creator-led digital businesses.
According to Lumikai, the startup’s ability to combine creativity, trend forecasting, and operational efficiency could help it build a globally scalable consumer IP brand from India.
