India’s education landscape has long been divided between metro cities and smaller towns. Affordable Innovative Techno Services (AITS) is working to bridge this gap by bringing quality, tech-enabled education to underserved regions. The company recently raised $4 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Big Capital and Redbrook Fund, with participation from notable investors like Sujeet Kumar, Ramakant Sharma, and Roman Saini.
Founded in 2023, AITS launched the Rysen School network in 2024 with a mission to deliver high-quality K-12 education in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. In a short span, the organization has established 15 campuses across nine cities in Rajasthan, enrolling over 10,000 students. With fresh funding, AITS plans to scale aggressively, aiming to reach 100,000 students by opening 100 new campuses over the next three years.
AITS is not just expanding schools, it is redefining how education is delivered. The company is investing heavily in a centralized, technology-driven learning ecosystem that includes smart classrooms, coding and tinkering labs, blended learning tools, and academic analytics platforms. This approach ensures that students in smaller cities receive exposure comparable to top metropolitan institutions.
The academic philosophy at Rysen School goes beyond traditional rote learning. It emphasizes application-based learning, creativity, and problem-solving from an early age. Structured programs in coding, robotics, and experiential education aim to equip students with future-ready skills. Additionally, AITS is strengthening teacher training programs, leadership pipelines, and performance tracking systems to ensure consistent academic outcomes across all campuses.
According to AITS leadership, the demand for quality education in smaller cities is rapidly increasing as aspirations rise among families. However, infrastructure and access have remained limited. By building scalable systems and standardized operations, AITS is addressing a deep structural gap in India’s education sector. Investors also see strong parallels with global markets where similar transformations have unlocked significant opportunities in secondary cities.
With its expansion strategy, AITS aims to become a key player in India’s evolving education ecosystem. By combining accessibility with high-quality academic outcomes, the company is creating institutions that empower students beyond metropolitan boundaries. Its focus on innovation, scalability, and inclusivity positions it well to shape the future of education in India’s emerging markets.
