Gurugram-Based Food Startup Plans to Strengthen R&D, Expand Manufacturing and Scale Distribution Across India

Gurugram-based healthy food and snacks brand Troovy has raised ₹100 crore in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Sharrp Ventures and other investors. The fresh capital will support the company’s research and development (R&D), manufacturing expansion and distribution across quick-commerce platforms and offline retail channels.

Founded in 2023 by Mansi Baranwal and Aditya Mukherjee, Troovy aims to make nutritious food more accessible without compromising on taste. Its product portfolio includes snacks, sauces, spreads and millet pasta, catering to consumers looking for alternatives to conventional packaged foods.

Rethinking Everyday Food Choices

Troovy is positioning itself around the growing demand for products made with better ingredients. Its offerings include vacuum-cooked potato chips, clean-label ketchups and seasonings designed without synthetic additives or preservatives.

According to the company, its vacuum-cooked potato chips contain approximately 10–12% oil, compared with 35–40% in mainstream chips. The brand also highlights its focus on developing products with reduced oil and sugar while maintaining the taste consumers expect.

Through these offerings, Troovy is seeking to address a familiar challenge in the packaged food industry: creating products that balance nutrition, convenience and flavour.

Building Products With Consumers

Consumer participation is an important part of Troovy’s product development strategy. The company says it has engaged with more than 100 mothers and their children through community discussions, recipe brainstorming sessions and product tastings.

These interactions have helped shape its approach to developing snacks with carefully selected ingredients while meeting children’s taste preferences.

Troovy’s co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Aditya Mukherjee, said the investment reflects confidence in a model that involves consumers directly in product development. He emphasised that improving food products requires more than simply replacing oil and sugar; it calls for meaningful reductions and continued innovation.

Scaling Operations and Distribution

The new funding will help Troovy expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen its supply chain and introduce a wider range of products. By increasing its presence across quick-commerce platforms and offline stores, the company aims to make its portfolio accessible to more consumers.

Ankita Balotia, Principal at Fireside Ventures, noted that Troovy grew fivefold in the eight months following the investor’s previous investment, citing the team’s execution across growth and supply-chain operations.

Troovy had previously raised $5 million in a Series A funding round in January 2026.

What Lies Ahead?

With its latest fundraise, Troovy is preparing for its next phase of growth in India’s evolving packaged food market. Its ability to combine consumer-led innovation, manufacturing capabilities and wider distribution will be important as it works to establish healthier snacking as an everyday choice.
