Thestartupcaffe – PR, Social Media & Podcast Platform for Startups
India’s convenience economy is evolving rapidly, and Snabbit is emerging as a strong contender in the instant home services space. The startup has raised $56 million in a Series D funding round, reflecting growing investor confidence in hyperlocal, on-demand service platforms. As urban lifestyles become busier, the demand for quick and reliable household services continues to surge.
The latest funding round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, Mirae Asset Venture Investments, and Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investors like Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed. FJ Labs also joined as a new investor. This round values Snabbit between $350 million and $400 million, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.
Founded in 2024, Snabbit has scaled at an impressive pace, raising multiple funding rounds within just 15 months. The platform connects users with service professionals for everyday household tasks using a hyperlocal model designed for speed and efficiency. Currently, it operates in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
The company’s growth metrics highlight its momentum, it now completes over 40,000 jobs daily, a massive leap from just 400 daily jobs a year ago. With more than one million monthly jobs and operations across 140 micro-markets, Snabbit is quickly becoming a household name in India’s service economy.
One of Snabbit’s most distinctive features is its all-women workforce of around 15,000 service professionals. This approach not only addresses safety and trust concerns for customers but also creates meaningful employment opportunities for women. By combining convenience with social impact, Snabbit is building a unique positioning in a competitive market.
The instant home services sector in India is witnessing intense competition. According to a report by Morgan Stanley, combined monthly active users across Urban Company, Snabbit, and Pronto crossed 10.4 million in March. While Urban Company leads with 6.5 million users, Snabbit is steadily gaining traction with 1.2 million users and a growing share of app downloads.
With fresh capital, Snabbit plans to expand into new cities, strengthen its presence in existing markets, and invest in technology and operations. Its focus remains on delivering faster, more reliable services while scaling sustainably. As India’s on-demand economy grows, Snabbit is well-positioned to capture a larger share of this rapidly expanding market.
