Ubiqedge Raises Rs 10 Crore to Transform Industrial Infrastructure with AIoT Technology

Indian Startup Building Smarter Industrial Operations

Indian AIoT startup Ubiqedge has raised Rs 10 crore (approximately $1.2 million) in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica. The round also saw participation from investors Shibam Das and Sumit Chhazed.

The funding marks an important milestone for the startup as it looks to scale its AI-powered industrial infrastructure solutions across multiple sectors. The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities, expand deployments across industrial use cases, and build a wider ecosystem of system integrators and OEM partners.

Founded in March 2024 by Visat Patel, Archit Khandelwal, Akhilesh Thorat, and Hetvi Shah, Ubiqedge is developing an advanced AIoT operating system focused on improving industrial efficiency through intelligent automation and real-time monitoring.

Combining AI and IoT for Industrial Intelligence

Ubiqedge’s technology ecosystem combines a hardware layer called KLEON with its AI-powered software platform SAMASTH. Together, these systems enable industries to monitor, control, and optimise critical infrastructure assets in real time.

The platform is designed to solve common industrial challenges such as fragmented systems, delayed decision-making, manual monitoring, and operational inefficiencies. By converting real-time data into automated actions and actionable insights, the startup aims to help industries improve operational efficiency while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Its solutions are currently being used across sectors including water management, solar energy, air quality monitoring, and construction operations. Through intelligent automation, the company is enabling businesses and infrastructure operators to make faster and smarter operational decisions.

Driving Impact Through Scalable Infrastructure Solutions

One of the startup’s major achievements so far has been the digitisation of more than 23,000 borewells across different regions. According to the company, its technology has also helped reduce issue resolution times by over 80%, demonstrating the effectiveness of real-time monitoring and AI-led infrastructure management.

As industries increasingly adopt digital transformation strategies, AIoT solutions like those developed by Ubiqedge are becoming essential for building sustainable and efficient infrastructure systems.

The company believes industrial infrastructure represents one of the largest untapped opportunities for technology innovation in India. By integrating AI with IoT-enabled systems, Ubiqedge aims to modernise sectors that have traditionally relied on manual operations and outdated monitoring processes.

Scaling the Future of Industrial AIoT

Ubiqedge’s leadership highlighted that the startup has been profitable since its first year of operations, reflecting strong product-market fit and growing demand for intelligent industrial solutions.

With the newly raised capital, the startup now plans to accelerate platform development, strengthen its AI capabilities, and expand its presence across industries nationwide.

As India continues investing in smart infrastructure and industrial automation, startups like Ubiqedge are playing a critical role in shaping the future of connected and data-driven industrial ecosystems.
